Cancellation by You

Orders can be canceled for a full refund before the item is shipped. Custom-designed or bespoke items cannot be canceled after 48 hours of order placement.

Once an order is placed, it can only be cancelled before it is shipped to the provided destination. You can check the status of your order through the "Track Order" option available on our website.

  • If a cancellation request is received after shipping, the order will be processed as a return, and the amount will be refunded following our return procedure. The refund will be credited to your account via the original payment method used for the transaction.
  • Custom or Personalized Products: Orders placed for customized or personalized products cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed.

Tinch Jewels reserves the right to cancel an order at our sole discretion, without providing a reason. Some reasons why an order might be cancelled include but are not limited to:

  • Inability to meet the delivery deadline.
  • Logistical issues, such as quantity limitations or pricing errors.
  • Detection of concerns by our fraud prevention team.

In such cases, we will notify you regarding the cancellation and provide a full refund to your original payment method.


Refund

We offer a 100% refund on orders returned within  48 hours from the delivery date, as per our Return and Refund policy . The refund will be processed within 7-10 business days once the returned item passes our inspection. The amount will be credited to your original payment method.

For returns, shipping charges (both forward and reverse) will be deducted from the final refund amount. Custom and personalized orders are non-refundable.

How do I place an order online?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards, Debit cards, Online Banking, UPI, PayTM as well as Cash on Delivery (COD).

Are your prices subject to change?

Yes, our prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in gold rates.

Do you accept Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Yes we do! However, this does not apply to all postcodes. We charge a ₹200 fee for COD.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How long after ordering will my items be dispatched?

Ready-to-Ship orders are usually shipped the next working day after order confirmation.

Made-to-order items are sent to manufacturing and take 3 weeks to be shipped.
All orders are shipped via a Secure and Insured delivery service and normally take 2-4 days to be delivered.

An executive is assigned to you who will be giving you regular updates on the status of your order.

How much does delivery cost?

Normal Shipping on Prepaid Orders is absolutely free!

We have a flat shipping rate of ₹200 for Cash on Delivery Orders and it is non refundable in case of returns.

Is my order insured during shipping?

Yes, all the orders are insured during transit.

How do I track my order?

After dispatch, your order can be tracked via a tracking link which you will receive in a shipping confirmation email from us. However, if you face any issues with tracking, please reach out to us and we will help you out -Contact Us

What is your return policy?

You can return or exchange any purchase within 30 days after your item was received. However, Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Please refer to our Return Policy for full details.

Will I have to pay for shipping my returns?

Yes, For Returns forward & Reverse shipping charges will be deducted from Refund amount.

How long will my refund take?

Your refund will take 3-5 business days once we receive the return.

Do you ship outside India?

Not yet but we surely will ship outside India soon!

Warranty, Care & Lifetime Exchange

What is covered your 6 months warranty?

Our 6 months warranty covers repairs within the first year of purchase relating to

- Basic breakages of jewelry.

- Any loss of diamonds

You can either bring the item to one of our retails stores or request a reverse pickup.

The shipping charges for the reverse pickup and post-repair delivery will be borne by the customer.

Subsequent repairs are chargeable.

The warranty does not cover any damage to the item due to harsh chemical exposure.

What is your Lifetime-Exchange Policy

Our lifetime exchange policy allows you to return your jewellery in exchange for store credit or an online gift card. You can simply bring the product into our stores or ask us to book a reverse shipping for your items. Read more about lifetime exchange here.

We will not accept any exchanges that are not accompanied by either an authenticity certificate or an invoice.

Care-What to do

1. Jewellery should be the last thing you put on when your dress.

2. Ensure you store your jewellery with utmost care to prevent damage. 

3. Clean your jewellery from time to time to retain its shine.

Care-What not to do

Avoid wearing your jewellery while showering, swimming or exercising.

SWEAT and CHLORINE are highly likely to damage the polish on 14k and 18k jewellery. If the jewellery does get exposed to sweat, we recommend cleaning it immediately with some clean, lukewarm water.

If your jewellery does lose its shine or become dull over time, worry not! We will polish your jewellery for free. Alternatively you can also take your jewellery to a local jeweller for a polish.

NOTE: While there are no polishing charges, shipping charges for pick-up and delivery will be borne by the customer.

With Covid-19, our use of sanitizer has become regular and frequent. While it is absolutely necessary for you to follow covid-related precautions, sanitizer use can be detrimental to your jewellery, particularly 14k and 18k jewellery.  Most Sanitizers contain a high percentage of alcohol or other chemicals like chlorine that can impact the quality of your jewellery like lack of shine, dulled colour or discolouration and loss of lustre and brilliance of stones. 

We recommend removing your jewellery when you use sanitizers and putting it back on only after the sanitizer has dried. In case you accidentally get sanitizer on your jewellery, remove the piece and wash it separately with soap and warm water to get rid of the chemicals.

How do I clean my jewellery?

Soak the gold and diamond jewellery in a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water.

Clean out every little piece of jewellery in a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm.

Finally, rinse the jewelry thoroughly with clean water and dry it with soft cloth or paper towel. Your jewellery will be good to go!

We also recommend having your jewellery polished through us or a local jeweller every 1.5 years or so to maintain its shine

What happens if my jewellery breaks?

You don't have to worry. We will take care of it! Just email us at hello@tinch.co.in or call us on +918800305037 and we will help you out with the process.

If your product is still under warranty, there will be minimal to zero repair charges for minor repair(eg.Displacement of diamond from prong) for severe damage will evaluate the condition of jewellery and notify about charges.

Please note, the reverse shipping and subsequent delivery charges will be borne by the customer.

Do you have a Buy-Back Policy?

We currently only have a buy-back policy for customers in Mumbai who are able to physically visit our office.

However, for other cities we have a lifetime exchange policy wherein you can return your products in exchange for store credit or a gift card.

What is your lifetime polishing service?

We provide free lifetime polishing service. If you feel your piece is losing its shine, you can bring it to one of our stores and we will have it polished for you free of charge.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with us to arrange for pick-up, polish and delivery of your piece. 

NOTE: While there are no polishing charges, shipping charges for pick-up and delivery will be borne by the customer.

Our Jewellery

What are the differences between the various gold purities?

Gold items come in various purities ranging from 9k to 24k. As you go up in purity, the percentage of pure gold in the article increases.

24k - 100%

22k - 91.6%

18k - 75%

14k - 58.3%

9k - 37.5%

24 karat or pure gold is too soft to be worn as jewellery. With lower purities, the strength of the metal increases. The most ideal purity for studding with diamonds is 18k and 14k. At Starkle, we offer jewellery in both 18k and 14k solid gold.

Are your diamonds certified?

Yes we get all our diamond studded items certified from Government- accredited independent labs. 

Do you give certificates of Authenticity?

Yes we issue Certificates of Authenticity for all our items. 

What’s the quality of your diamonds?

We offer a varied range of diamond colours and clarities with differing rates. Information on the diamonds' colour, clarity and carat weight is mentioned in the product description. 

Is your jewellery hallmarked?

Yes all our jewellery items carry a BIS hallmark stamp with states the gold purity. 

Which materials is your jewellery made from?

TINCH jewellery is made from solid gold, Natural diamonds as well as Lab-Grown diamonds, precious and semi-precious gemstones.
